Recording Boot Camp was founded by producer-engineer Ronan Chris Murphy in 2001 as a way to create alternative approaches to real world education in music recording. It started as a series of 6-Day intensive Boot Camps but has evolved into a wide ranging company that produces events internationally, provides consulting services for private individuals, studios, pro audio brands and academic institutions and operates the worlds coolest marketplace for apparel for recording geeks.

Ronan created the world’s first online video blog/podcast for music recording, and his 6-day Recording Boot Camp was one of the first private recording intensives. In addition to operating of Recording Boot Camp, he still works full time in music production and engineering for album, video game and film clients around the globe.
