Hey—I know those mics.
Speaking of which: Did you turn one slightly towards the cello and the other slightly towards [whatever is on the other side] or did you face them both to the center?

ps—they sound great in mono.
Jeff, the stereo was in an XY configuration with the mics at 90 degrees. They were centered on the quartet. The first violin was a little too loud so I had him move back.

Thanks for the video! Although I’m not working with a quartet, this video was definitely encouraging! I’m currently working a rock band who has a violin player and this was great timing for me! Thanks again!
