Recording Boot Camp in Greece
18-23 September 2013, we will be hosting our first 6-day Recording Boot Camp program in Greece. Ronan Chris Murphy will be teaching this intensive Recording Workshop at The Living Room Studio in Athens, Greece. Additionally, we will be offering a few fun tourist opportunities in Greece
All instruction is in English, but studio owner/engineer, Pat Mavromatis is fluent in English and Greek and will be on hand to help translate any difficult concepts. The class is limited to only 7 students.
This is the same class as the 6-day program held in Los Angeles and the cost is 775 Euros. The fee is for the training and does not include travel, food accommodations or any of the activities outside of the studio. Fun in Greece!*
Since many people travel from other countries for our Boot Camps we are providing some opportunities to enjoy Greece while you are there:
1) Classes generally run from 11am-7pm each day, but one day we will be working in the evening so that we can visit the famed Acropolis/Parthenon and the historic center of Athens during the day.
2) Directly following the 6-day course we will be heading off to the island of Skopelos (where they filmed the movie Mamma Mia). This is not officially part of the boot camp, but a fun opportunity for some recording enthusiasts to hang out for a few days on a beautiful Greek island.
* Please note: all events outside of the actually lessons at The Living Rooms Studio are social events that the staff is planning for themselves and attendees of the boot camp are welcome to join them.
